My home phone line does not have Dial Tone. I called service and they said it will take a week to fix it. I have a price for life plan and I believe Century Link has targeted me to force me to change my plan. During May 2023 my internet was down for more than half of the month. It has been down several times for days since May's episode. Now my home phone is down and it won't be looked at for a week. Crappy Company and Crappy Service.

I had CenturyLink for 4 years with no problems at all. Now it's a completely different company. I have had NO internet connection for 8 days in the last 3 weeks and when I call it's a wait of 9 days for a tech to come out, at one point they said I had to pay $99 for the tech service, and now, without 3 days of internet, my calls to them are answered with .... we cannot help you with your request at this time, please call back later. When I did get in touch with them a week ago, there was no response to my question of rebate for days not connected. They also changed my rate; I was supposed to get the sign up rate for life. Rude customer service people; takes forever to get thru to them in the first place.

They're going broke because the Internet is overpriced and outdated and the customer service is trash. I couldn't say enough bad things about these guys if I wanted to. First off my Internet went down after a week of troubleshooting online and talking to bots and people who could care less I was transferred over back and forth more times than I can recall always having to repeat myself as apparently they keep no records whatsoever of the calls or what info is being exchanged (I guess the employees are not quite capable of taking notes.) I had a repair scheduled because guess what turns out 6 hours of troubleshooting didn't fix it.only to wait for several days before finally calling and finding out that they never even scheduled the repair. Then when I call they have nothing to say or any consideration and cannot get anyone in till next week, I'm thinking about just racking up my bills and switching services and they can pay off my balance, CenturyLink is a joke save your time and money and use the competitors instead.

Slow but acceptable speed. Many outages and often, one right after the other. Extremely difficult to cancel service. Plan on 60-90 minute wait and then the harrassing agents trying to offer, guilt, convince and basically refuse to cancel your service until they have gone through their entire script. It's a shame what has happened to this company.

I work from home- last week list 2 days due to outage. Interet wen out again yesterday. Called tech repair, they could not fix over phone so scheduled service for today by 2 pm. This was confirmed orally and by website this morning at 9 am. At 10 am for no reason I received a text saying appointment moved to between 8-5 ( huge window). It is now 5 like at work days over a less than two week period. Terrible customer service, I called tech support again, they could give me no reason why today’s service was canceled. I have no faith anyone will come tomorrow, yet another day’s income lost.

Worst email provider ever. Email program is impossible, doesn't work most of the time, the format is all wrong and can't use most of the features. They don't seem to want to fix all of the many problems with their email so I guess they put the customer last.

Even I canceled my connection with century link and they confirmed by email that my service is canceled but still sending me bill. There service is miserable. They promise you gigabit of service and you will be lucky to even get couple of megabits. Customer service is horrible.

They told me with my Price for Life account that it would not increase. Which it did increase and they left an orange cable across my patio and around the border of my yard. I would tell anyone to look for another provider

We have been Centurylink customers since everyone had a home phone. Every year they get consistently worse. Their off-shore "customer support/service" is an absolute joke. I'm writing this because I need a new modem/router after our four year old router needs replacement, ALREADY. A simple process, right? WRONG! You either have to buy or lease a modem through Centurylink at their overly-inflated prices. Even then, you'll probably get something recycled or refurbished. After an exhaustive search, there is no third party alternative. There was, buy they're mysteriously becoming "discontinued by the manufacturer". HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE given the undeniable market for replacing Centurylink's JUNK? In my opinion, someone needs to look into unfair trade practices with Centurylink. They need to be dealt with.
