Cable:

Cable provides internet speeds faster than DSL through the same cables used for cable TV.

I have been without internet since July 3 supposedly due to a fiberoptic upgrade. Then on July 12 I was told there was an outsoor cable that was the problem. I've had 4 scheduled repair appointments that 3 have documented repair tickets and not one repair tech showed up. The chat option is a joke because the agents (I've dealt with 4 since this started) have no idea what they're doing. I call and the automated response says they will reconnect the internet and then hang up on me. The chats on Facebook messenger (also 4 different agents) are just as frustrating as they tell me repair doesn't load the repair tickets into the system. I asked for the case to be escalated and that I want a manager or supervisor to contact me directly; I'm told that at a manager supervisor has 48 hours to respond. I've been with Centurylink since 2009 and this is them at their worst. I am filing a formal complaint against them with the FCC and the Utilities Commission.

I have had Century link since Dec of 2022 at first it worked great but I have not been able to use my service since April 11 and every day they send a different email changing the date it'll be restored this is unprofessional and unacceptable as I work from home. This company is garbage?

Took over 10 visits for installation which was about 25 calls on my part. But it only works in the daytime! If I call at night to get it fixed, I’m at least 31st in line. Yup…let’s hurry up & pay so we can wait. I “could buy a more expensive plan to get better service for so much equipment” (a computer & cell phone??? Really?) but they can only fix it if I call in the evening so I guess Oll just speaker phone for an hour or two in my spare time

Turn my world of TV & Internet to a Living Hell. I was late with a payment but did get it paid before shut off date ! They wanted me to pay for bill not due till next month. I refused they shut off my services. I THEN PAID AGAIN TWICE BUT mY SERVIVES STILL OFF.THEY CAN LEAVE IT OFF come get there equitment.

My experience with CenturyLink has been a nightmare. Every month my bill is higher than I was told it would be. The wifi is so slow and freezes up even if I am right next to the router. I've tried calling but their customer service is awful. I've tried every trouble shooting suggestion on their website with no improvement. I'm calling today to have the service turned off as I refuse to pay them another cent for service that doesn't work, has never worked and likely never will work. I have friends paying way less for great service through another provider so I'm moving on..

The speed is terrible. The sales pitch is say just the opposite. WHY MAKE YOUR EMPLOYEE LIE? Tell the real truth. 'We don't want to upgrade your neighborhood. You folks are just not worth it!????
